Johnny was eating a prescription diet, Royal Canin Potato and Duck, but still itched and scratched. Recently I switched to NB Potato & Venison and he still itches and scratches.
Vet said allergy free diets need to eliminate the source of protein such as beef, lamb, or chicken which leaves duck and venison and salmon in most of the prepared foods.
There are also some vegetarian foods. I'm not sure which one of these is, but the vet suggested Innova Evo, Wellness Core, Solid Gold, and Barking at the Moon. Some are not easy to find.
Johnny also takes an antihistimine and a vitamin prescribed by a holistic vet as I try to elminate the Atopica.
