Doesn't surprise me that Dell is boss -- I have always had animal in pairs, and the female is always the dominate one - including my Roxy will do a sassy bark at Bubba if he wants to come out in HER backyard - she barks right in his face for a minute
But I would think with your help, you could teach Dell that you are leader of the pack and that should help lessen her dominance over Farmer.
