Call other trainers. I have a niece who is now training certified Drug, Alcohol, Firearms and Cadaver dogs. She was taking her dogs for basic trainings, and the owner was more than happy to have her begin helping out, then asked her if she wanted to begin learning to really train. It is perfect for her. She trains a lot of border collies and shepherds. She also occasionally takes her one dog to do a sweep of the high school with local police (in Iowa) and when she does is pd $1500/ for about an hour work.
