Nope, not at all what I'm saying. I've actually stated several times in this thread alone that compared to other registries they are hands down the most reputable. So on that aspect, we agree.

Exactly the point I was trying to make.. There are decietful breeders in all registries, even AKC. Just because a breeder is using AKC doesn't mean they are honest and ethical. My point had nothing to do with what registry you choose to 'support.' I often see people educated on AKC with the claims that they are superior because they require DNA profiling when that is not entirely true. I think that it's a bit misleading, as it is not ALWAYS required. I think more emphasis should be placed on carefully choosing a breeder, not assuming you are getting something 'better' because of the paper(s) that come with the dog.
