It's almost time for SBCHA's 4th Annual Celebration Pet Day. This
year's event is:
Saturday, September 27, 2008
10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Bedford County Agricultural Center
Everyone is welcome! All friendly dogs (leashed or crated) welcome!
We would also like to invite all of the local rescues to come out and
participate for FREE!! Booths are 10x10 spaces with electrical
hookups. You are free to pass out your literature, collect
donations, bring available pets for adoption, and sell your items.
As a rescue organization ourselves, we realize the value of
networking with other rescue organizations. 100% of the vending fees
received from vendors will go to benefit the Shelbyville-Bedford
County Humane Association's shelter and animal care costs. The nice
thing about our location is the covered pavilions. Vendor and rescue
booth spaces are covered, so even though it is outside, it will be
shaded and we will be able to go on rain or shine. We only have two
organized fundraisers per year to support our association. Free
lunch will be provided to all rescue booths. We just ask that you
let us know of any special dietary requirements. Meal tickets will
be given at registration check in. Please let me know if you are
interested. We would love to have your organization in attendance.
You may e-mail me at this address for registration forms and
directions or you may reach me by calling (615) 828-9206.
We have some GREAT events lined up this year which include:
