 Baby is choking
My little Batman is always in trouble. He will be 16 weeks old tomorrow, about 3.5 pounds. He was eating a treat today and he holds his mouth up to chew. He started coughing and choking, after a bit he was foaming at the mouth. He keeps coughing since about 1:00 today. I have given him nutrical and I gave him water with a syringe. It seems to make him spit up little amounts of liquid and maybe a little blood. The vet said to give him a little cough syrup, that his throat is just still irritated. Of course, the later it gets, the more I am worried about going to sleep myself. He has been sleeping, but when he wakes up, he runs around coughing again like it is still stuck in his throat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
