Gabby just recently started doing the same thing! And when she was about 6 months! Before that she never really barked much. Now she barks when she sees someone out the window, and sometimes barks at the front door, maybe someone is out there. I remember a few months ago someone asking me if she barked much and I said now she was good, like you said their true colors are now showing!
