I have to say that I am married to a cop and take it personal when someone makes a negative comment about them, but this makes me sick and I think that cop should be fired immediately... Not only did he say it is just a dog, but a few minutes later he said " I don't care about your damn dog man" I started griping to my husband when I saw this and told him that I thought he should be fired... Now my husband is not a big dog lover but he agreed with me... He also said that it is against policy here in Tn to give a police escort to someone taking their dog to the vet.. He said that if he were the cop and he gave the man an escort here, he would be fired..He did say though that even though he doesn't care for animals much, he would never have let the dog die, that he would have told the guy to just be careful... It just shows that there are good cops and very BAD cops.. Is there anything that can be done, like letters to the cheif to request his termination I wonder.. I know the law here but not Texas...Here he would have been fired immediately... |
