I have to say I have never heard of anything like this. You'd think the vet would be checking on the dog every half hour or so following surgery. It takes quite some time for circulation cut off to end up in amputations, it is not something that takes place if the blood flow is only cut off for a short period of time. One has to wonder what went on at the vet's after surgery.
I sure hope they can save this little one. |
