How can one be a professional dog trainer??? I studied Health Psychology in college and was always interested in alternate ways to deal with psychological problems. I, myself, don't really like to rely on the medication. (I know.. for some people meds work well because of their chemimcal unbalance in their body.) I focused on how religion, animal (pets including aquariams), and meditation help people emotionally.
I always wanted to pursue my education in Health Psychology but due to my immigration and personal situation, I haven't been able to. I am not sure if it is really going to be my real passion. But after reciving thoughtful messages and posts from people at Yorkietalk, I would like to see the option to be a professional dog trainer for service dogs /therapy dogs. It just came to my mind.
Anyone has information on any school or steps that people take to be a professional dog trainer?
