Is there anything I need to know about hamsters? We have never owned them before. My daughter was so excited about Petey that she bought herself a regular hamster female (she named her Tinkerbell) but she had "wet tail" and died w/in 24 hrs of having her so she too now is the owner of Petey's brother and his name is Stormy.
Stormy actually broke out of his hamster habitat lastnight (thank god the yorkies were in a deep sleep or we would of had some drama this morning! - so now Peter Pan and Stormy have luggage locks on their cages!
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! |
We have had several hamsters over the years and they are nice little pets. It's very hard to tell the boys from the girls, so be sure you have two boys or two girls or you will soon have lots of babies!
