 Prednisone dosage??
Hallee went to the vet today, she has been itching like crazy for the last few days. He said it was some kind of skin irritation and prescribed her 2.5mg 2 times daily (1/2 of a 5mg tablet twice a day), along with Cephalexin 2 times daily. She weighs 4.5 pounds @ 3 years old. Is this a normal dosage of Prednisone? I know I shouldn't second guess the vet but we always check out everything about a medication before giving it to our girls, I could find all kinds of side effects but no place had dosages. Thanks....
