Well, I've only had my rescue Yorkie about a month, but I never thought much about hawks and stuff. I have a very secure back yard and I've just let him go out with my other two dogs (both about 20lb. dogs). Usually no longer than 15 minutes or so. The Yorkie is about 7 lbs. Can a hawk carry off a 7lb. dog? We have red-tailed hawks around here. |
