I have NEVER been in so much pain in my life.

I went to hook my dishwasher up (it's portable or whatever they're called) and it's soo hard to get the hose for the water to full go on the faucet, you have to push really hard. I must have strained a little too hard because I heard something either pop in my neck. You know how if you turn your head real fast you'll hear a weird noise? That's the noise I heard. It was immediate EXCRUCIATING pain, I couldn't and didn't want to move.

Does anyone know what this could be and how serious it is? I don't have insurance so I'd rather not go to the doctor for a few days to see if it gets better. I can't do anything though, if I even BARELY turn it feels like someone's stabbing me with a sharp object in the neck.

I took 3 Ibuprofen and have ice on it right now. Should I go out and get some stronger medication and a heat pad? I'll have to have someone take me, I don't think I can drive.
