Default Oily Itchy Skin

Probably a food allergy but could be caused by other allergens. For relief changing food to something without corn/wheat/chicken/beef is a good start. Wellness is GREAT - for allergies dogs my vet recommends Fish and Potato foods - for some dogs Lamb and Rice works too. To help with the oily itchy skin I bathe with Neutragena T/Gel shampoo - (human shampoo) Nizoral is also a good choice if there is scaling along with the oil. Food allergies often cause yeast - yeast causes the oil and makes them itch. I help take care of some dogs for a toy breed rescue group - mainly the shih tzu's have this problem and that's how we treat it.

GOOD LUCK

Karen
