I found a great cream on line to help with the itchy spots that are losing the hair. It's from equinat-USA.com. My girl has the same issues. We haven't found the cause yet but I also would suggest switching foods too. I would stay away from chicken and beef flavors they can cause reactions also. I'm just suggesting this so when you switch you can rule out a couple of culprits at the same time.
The cream helps Trixie stop biting and scratching(and has kept her off meds)she's much happier now and I only have to put it on when I see her biting or scratching a particular spot. It also helped her hair to grow back fast. And we also have a greasy girl, maybe skip the conditioner for a while until her skin has calmed down. The skin produces excess oils in reaction to all the scratching thats going.
I also was EXTREMELY frustrated it's sad to see them so itchy. But I highly recommend the cream it was short of a miracle for us. It's only $24. and it works. I would post a picture of how bad Trixie got and how far we have come but I can't seem to get the pictures to upload. I'll try again
