NutriCal is a MUST for young puppies trying to adapt to different diets and environments. Diarrhea is not uncommon with changes in diet, but watch for signs of blood or mucus which would indicate a more serious problem, in which case you should rush to the vet, and do save a stool sample in a plastic (not paper) bag to take with you.
My Tiki started out being a picky eater, and the breeder suggested adding a bit of cottage cheese to her kibble, which she loved, and also giving her a tiny bit of boiled chicken breast finely diced, in with the dry. Those things can also contribute to diarrhea in some cases, but it turned her into an eager eater. |
