Thing is I'm thinking about-getting her bigger before a definitive surgery if possible- always a bit of race against time. There's some very good surgical descriptions of the surgery options that I have, actually kind of complicated but fun. You have to make a series of flaps and shift and put them in their new places, in order! secondary cleft palate I've had more experience with-you have to have NO tension!. I suspect the reason(s) the first surgeries may have failed are failure to remove tension, freshen edges (mucosa to mucosa), may traumatizing the surgery? Generally I've tried to get the little guys as big as possible, but that's not always doable. I'll know more when I see Emma. Thanks! >>>>>>

I'm so EXCITEDDDD Dena!! I can't wait for the surgeon to get back and you and Emma go in to see him. Sounds like he knows his stuff just by reading the above Email! Keep up the awesome job you're doing Dena, and Punkin Butt, you just keep on hangin in there and growing bigger and stronger everyday, the help you need will come.
