How old is he? Could he be marking instead of peeing? It's really important to get all the "smell" from past accidents or he will want to mark on the smell. To do this you need to use an enzyme cleaner sold at pet stores. First spray the spot, and absorb moisture, then liberally spray again and let air-dry. While it is drying special enzymes eat the protein that is in urine and feces, and this protein is what attracts the dog back to the spot. You can also get a black light and it will show all the "spots" that your eyes can't see. You'd be amazed what you can see with one of these lights. I use Natures Miracle or Simple Solutions, just be sure what you buy has an "enzyme" in it. |
