I'm so glad to hear you and your fiancee are on the same page. I seriously doubt that much could or would be done about the dog. Like I mentioned in my first post, it's probably not even illegal in Louisiana. Plus it happened months ago and you didn't witness anything yourself. I am worried about you SIL's to be. You really should think about calling CPS, tell them she has a substance abuse problem and a gun and her children may be in danger. I think shooting their dog is definitely a form of abuse. I'm sure the girls won't cooperate with having their dogs taken away. The dogs probably help them cope with living with someone like their mom. Hopefully there is a relative who can take the girls and possible the dogs in. |
