I've had to have shots for 3 dogs that were playing with toads. They were foaming at the mouth, diarhea, vomiting. Got real dehydrated. One had to have IV's. The vet said they can kill a dog, even a big one. They can let loose something in their skin.

I'm with Villette - I throw them, sweep them, get a shovel and toss them over the fence.
