I keep a collar on her at all times with a tag that includes her name, my phone number and address. Desi has been known to run out the door and with kids the door is always opening and closing. The collar is only to hold the tag because I use a harness when I walk her. If we are going out and no one is going to be home then I take her collar off and leave her in her X-pen. I'm alway afraid to leave her collar on after I heard of an accident where a little Yorkie was strangled by his collar. Actually, it happened to a YT member and I've haven't able to get that out of my mind. |
