I have an 8 lb. dog but I do think she is probably a couple of lbs overweight, but I am happy she is at least this big. When she was a puppy, we worried so much about stepping on her or droppping her. I dont understand the focus on the "smaller the better." Most of the really tiny dogs have significant health issues and shorter lives. I want my baby with me as long as possible...just because she might be cuter if she was a few lbs smaller , I wouldnt trade that for more time with her.
