I agree, I buy toys, clothes & some treats from stores like Pet Smart, but I don't buy food from there. And I certainly don't even step into a pet store that sells kitten & puppies because I don't want to support mills in any way, shape or form.
But in regards to buying quality food for your little one, I would seek out independantly owned pet supply stores. They usually care good, quality foods for reasonable prices. And you can do for the Whole Dog Journal food listing. You might be able to find it in the food/diet section on the forum to get ideas on what brands are good for your baby. Good luck!
