They're all over the south which was unheard of years ago. We've seen them many times in our area and just 2 yrs. ago one went through our yard. Scared me to death and I guarded every step Scooter took. In one town in our county they killed several small dogs a few years back. Last week there was a segment on the news where the NC mountains were full of them. One farmer had to give up his sheep because the coyotes had killed so many. When the cameras scanned the distance you could see them. Very,very scary.
