But honestly, do they really need to go to the groomer every 6 weeks?? I can't even remember what I've paid for Tatum in the past because she hasn't been to a groomer in about 2 years. Once her hair got long and I had the groomer cut in kinda long layers, it seemed to stop growing. I love the length of it but it's a good thing I wasn't going for a full length show coat. When I bathe her, I trim her ears (not every time) and buzz between the pads of her feet and her little hiney area. Every so often I get my vet's assistant to cut her nails - only because it takes her about 2 minutes where as I would fight and struggle with Tatum for hours, upsetting both of us! I just don't know what you would need to get professionally groomed every 6 weeks or less. I guess what I mean to say is, Tatum surely doesn't need it that often.
