I tried my best with Tia. BUT I chose NOT to have surgery. Her vet wanted to repair her...I chose not to because I was scared of losing her to something that was working as is. Kinda like if its not broke - why fix it, type thing.
Tia still has her cleft and we still have struggles. We had an episode tonight as a matter of fact, scared the poop out of me..but she is fine now.
