Max would wear his name tag with phone numbers. I put his county tag, rabies tag and micro chip tag on his leash, mostly because he was so tiny I worried about the weight around his neck and 2, he chewed on them. His microchip tag was completely unreadable after he chewed it up. I too worried about them being on the leash if he got away from me because then they'd be of no help. I had been trying to think of a way to create a collar wherein the tags were inserted into them, looking like a design. That way there was nothing hanging from his neck. But it only got as far as a thought. They need to create something more appropraite for the extra small dogs.
