have you considered Yorkshire Terrier rescue society as they sometimes have some lovely yorkies that just need a bit of tender love and care or alternatively most good yorkie breeders have some of the litter not suitable for showing and are willing to let them go to a pet home. I personally would be very wary of newpaper adds and especially if they quote a size etc. There is no such thing as a larger yorkie, teacup yorkie or any other size reference. breeders who say they breed a special size are not reliable - the standard is 5-7 lbs no mention of size and they do come in different sizes but that is not due to specific breeding. There are also many yorkshire terrier clubs that keep a list of puppies available and they are from quality breeders who have gone into the pedigrees and are aware of the lines they are breeding. They will sometimes be happy for any extra yorkies that are not suitable for showing to go to pet homes and are very caring with the history of their litters. Hope you are successful they are a wonderful breed and although small are really BIG DOGS in a small BODY.
