Well PETA decided this would be a great time to come out with an ad saying that's what we do to animals, and to try to put that ad in the Portage La Prairie newspaper!!!! For goodness sake, his family, his friends, the whole country is grieving.

I think someone in the PETA publicity department has got a loose screw. I hate it when organizations that are supposedly fighting for an "ethical" cause use abhorrent, and often unethical, tactics. I can't help but be reminded of the crazies who have bombed or tried to bomb abortion clinics. PETA is just about as looney... individuals associated with PETA have been quoted stopping just short of promoting violence as a means of protecting animals.
