That's a good idea, be sure to take a stool sample with you so the vet can sell you the correct dewormer. You might want to have a blood sample drawn so you can get him started on heartworm preventer while you are at it. You can use one product that will protect him against fleas, as well as heartworms and intestinal worms if you want. Good luck.
