People are always looking for new and improved products, if a company is using a new ingredient's that has never been tested, they have to test it for safety, and there are humane ways to do this. Small companies don't have the funds to test new ingredients so they use ingredients that have already been tested. Not buying from one manufacture that tests and buying from another manufacture that used those test results seems unfair. Companies should be responsible in their testing and not do unnecessary or inhumane testing, but it seems hypocritical to reward another company who has "used" the research of the first company. Targets version and other stores versions aren't made by those companies, but by the original manufacture, who just make them for Target and other stores. I doubt if you can find any product that whose ingredients at one time hasn't been tested on animals.
