If a blood protein level is low it needs to be built up, it can be assisted by giving the dog Iv fluids and giving them plasma protein. A small bag of this cost $273.00 - $300.00 but it helps them with building up their immune system. You might see symptoms of hypoglycemia with this also.
I had the vet give it to my dog when his protein level was low.
If it is low I can't see them wanting to do blood test so close together without telling you how to help build up the protein level.
Was the dog vomiting blood or bloody diarrhea?
If liver enzymes and BAT are normal then give the dog fluids to build up the protein before having another test done.
