Oh, gosh this is awful! Poor Cody! It sounds so painful. I'm sure it'll start to clear up quickly with the meds. Maybe give bottled water too to avoid reoccurrence? I'm so sorry for all that you're going through - I'm sending good thoughts your way. HUGS.
