It depends on the quality and the type of stick. I carry a bunch of different sticks on my site so we've gotten to try a lot of sticks! The Bully Stick Jr's (the skinny 5" and 7" ones) are steer sticks, not bully sticks, and it does make a difference. I'm surprised you guys say those don't smell because I think they do. They smell like flossies, which makes sense because flossies are also steer sticks, which have a stronger odor. True "Bully" sticks are denser and usually thicker than steer sticks and if they are high-quality and (eew) drained and dried properly, they will at least not stink up the whole room. The best part is that since they are denser they last longer!
