I am sure they dream when they sleep. Sometimes Layla will move her legs in her sleep (not just twitching as she's falling asleep, but actually making pawing motions) and sometimes she even whimpers or cries! I usually just go over and pet her slowly and snuggle her until her eyes slowly open and then she goes back to sleep peacefully.
