Sad, but true. When my little guy Chipper (RIP) had a severe attack from Congestive Heart Failure, we had to take him to an Emergency Vet. It was $1000.00 for that night alone! What if we had been unable to pay it? They would have just turned their heads and sent him home while he was struggling to breathe and choking to death. So very sad and so unfair to these helpless little ones.
