At our ER vets...you aren't charged before being seen...however when certain tests are recommended...they will give you an estimate of the bill and then you must make payment...and this procedure continues until the testing etc is completed. There aren't any surprises...they told you the cost. I think it's your responsibility to have the means available...not the vet's office. |
This is true, but my co pay is only 15.00. Not 800.00. No way I could come up with that kind of cash.
