Here is my rule of thumb.....If there are more than 3 faults I do not use in my breeding program. I usually use the 2 thumb rule but normally if they have 3 or more faults I spay or neuter. I go with structure, movement, good bite, the coat and so on....if I have a bite problem I normally don't keep in my breeding program, but coat plays an important role after the structure and movement of the dog but coat is probably second after that and then the bite and then ear set.
