Well we've had Lily for almost a year now- she's thirteen mos old . Just in the past three months she's been going poop outside and using the pee pee pads regularly for either pee or poop. I give her one long half hour walk every night and she poops midway-peeps outside all the way... like marking her turf. She goes on the pads when we're home and we give her tons of praise but she still hits the carpet with pee puddles or leaves us poop presents in discreet hidden spots. I've had my oriental rugs sent out for cleaning over the past year but am thinking of getting a good steam cleaner.
It takes a lot of patience.
Just keep taking the baby out and like others said watch the schedule..they have their own clock like people! |
