It is very important not to take your puppy out or around other dogs until all the vaccines are given. The rabies shot is not typically given until at least 4 months old. A young puppy could get ill quickly from being exposed to other dogs.
You could trim your puppy if you need to, but, not shave her , or anything totally dramatic.
