I have to admit that I have done the same thing with my babies. I am trying to do everything I can to protect them from puppy mills. Did you get the dog spayed/neutered? If so, then you should contact the breeder and tell him that you got it done and that you would like your papers. If he objects or refuses to give them, then I would say you have been scammed. If he agrees and sticks to his side of the contract, then you should not have any problems..You will need the application to properly register your dog as you will need alot of info off of it. Not just the puppy number..
