WHY? What do you mean by "Cut Down"? I personally don't cut or trim any of mine (3 Yorkie's) except for their standard Grooming; Sanitary shave(their private parts), trim between their toes and around their feet, shave and tip their ears. My 2 females (Mother & daughter) have their bangs trimmed b/c
they don't like wearing a Topknot. Yorkie's hair/coat are not like other dog breeds, they have NO under coat their hair protects them from the Sun & Cold
it's not like they are Alaskan Malamute's shaved down for the Summer?
