The foolproof method would be to have your vet draw blood and get her progesterone level, you will have a much better idea re; when she will ovulate. It is also nice since you can get a firm due date. The last 2 breedings I used progesterone testing, the first because we had to travel 10 hrs to the stud, the next just because I wanted to be sure the breeding took. I have a bitch here now to be bred to one of my boys without testing and I feel like I am throwing darts in the dark! I don't anticipate problems getting her bred but boy I like having that extra information, esp. with a maiden bitch whose ovulation pattern is unknown.
