Hi
I was wondering how old my little Gwen should be before her hair is cut down? I've read 6 months but that puts it at October and it's pretty cold here in Missouri by then.....her hair is about 2 inches long on her back now and she is 13 weeks old. Should I wait until it warms up after she is over 6 months (which might not be until March or April) or should I have it done in like mid-August or mid-September so she can grow some hair back before it gets cold?? I'm new to the Yorkie and their particular coat requirements, plus I'm worried if I wait until October she'll catch a chill even though she'll be in clothes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated by myself and Chilly Gwenny the Yorkie lol.
