I'm going to try & focus on the positive & not on the politics. It's disgusting watching all the fingerpointing & pointless right now.

I have a greater admiration for the Red Cross. I see it when there are disasters around the world & here. But they have been really impressive with this disaster. Normally, I would give to the Salvation Army but this time I gave to the Red Cross.

And I absolutely adore the Army General in charge. Now he would make a great president some day! I forget the question that was asked but he answered it doesn't matter who did or didn't do, what's more important is what are YOU going to do. It's a time for America to come together & help these people to improve their life (paraphrased). He's so positive in how he looks at things & gives hope. He reminded me of JFK's statement, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
