I'm sure most of the groomers are not qualified either. Scary when anyone can apply for a grooming position. You don't need formal training at all.
Since I've been on YT I can't believe all the horror stories about what happen to the dogs that went to a groomer. I've never had any of mine groomed by anyone but me and I'm so happy about that.
Give your baby lots of hugs and reassurance, and invest in some good scissors and clipper.
