It stays solid. It's very thick. Bud has put dents into them but there is
no way they can splinter. I even put them in the dishwasher from time
to time. He's had his for over two years now and that is all he's chews.
He's a big chewer still. I don't know what I would have done had I not
found this natural bone. Nothing to worry about. Just get the right
size so it fit's into his mouth.
