dcoff827 | Has she been doing this behavior all along or when the eye drops started? You could try the next few times when doing the eye drops to give her a treat before and after making it a pleasant experience. Also try picking her up in a different way from how you are doing it now. While you are picking her up give her a treat to begin eating and then place her on your lap and try putting the drop in without really saying anything to her. When done put her on the floor and give her another treat telling her good girl if she doesn't growl, etc. If she starts to growl while doing the drops don't stop she will learn that you are the leader meaning if you are calm she will learn to be calm. |
