 Found a flea
I'd noticed Roxie scratching more then usual lately. I kept checking her for fleas or flea dirt and wasn't seeing anything. So yesterday morning I gave her a bath and after that the scratching was more intense. I found one dead flea while bathing her. I checked her again thinking it's got to be fleas as I felt some little bumps around her neck which I thought might be bites of some sort. This morning I spotted a live one crawling on her. We're about 5 days shy of it being time to apply another round of Advantyx. I went ahead and put the flea stuff on her figuring that since she's had 3 baths since the last treatment it's probably wore off. I'm just wondering if applying another dose 5 days short of the month being up was ok? Any thoughts? |
